Americans Targeted In DHS Homegrown Terror Drills

MIKAEL THALEN reports in The Examiner:

Twenty-three government agencies including the U.S. Coast Guard, Department of Energy, TSA and FBI ran a Department of Homeland Security funded counter-terrorism exercise at the Port of Tacoma in Washington.
Tacoma, home to the 10th largest container port in the country where each year over 1.7 million containers worth $46 billion are moved, held the drill where the proposed scenario, a "man with a score to settle" places two IEDs (improvised explosive devices) inside the port, one of which that emits a radioactive signature.
The most telling aspect of the drill is the claim that the scenario was meant to simulate a response to the "very real threat of homegrown terrorism," not an outside threat.
In recent years government and military drills inside the United States in urban environments have seen a large increase. Multiple unannounced military drills in US cities where gun fire is used, have begun to occur as well.
Last January in Houston, Army Special Operations forces along with several other agencies flew military helicopters to an old high school in a southeast neighborhood unnanounced, terrifying local residents as military men in fatigues fired off blank rifle rounds.
That same Month in Miami, military troops set up unannounced roadblocks as black military helicopters unloaded blank rounds of machine gun fire above the city as unaware citizens watched in terror.
Groups once considered to be the primary threat to the United States such as Al Qaeda, who were almost the sole reason for the creation of such government entities as the TSA and Homeland Security, now openly receive support and even funding from the US.
During the recent conflict in Libya, a commander of the "Libyan rebels," who were backed by the US, admitted that many of the islamic militants among his ranks were foreign Al Qaeda members who fought and killed US troops in Iraq and Afghanistan. Despite countless reports of the Al Qaeda run rebels rounding up innocent black africans and executing themas well as beheading civillians, the support still continued unabated.
Soon after the death of Libyan leader Muammar Gaddafi, Al Qaeda's flag was seen flying over the court house in Libya's capitol of Benghazi, put up by the US backed rebels. The event, which was almost completely ignored by western media, did spark a few responses including that of Democratic Representative Dennis Kucinich.
The Al Qaeda groups in Libya were soon airlifted into Syria and branded as "Syrian rebels," despite many journalists and Syrian's claiming that over 3/4 were foreign Al Qaeda jihadists. Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has even admitted that the majority of the Syrian opposition are with Al Qaeda.
Despite their praise for Bin Laden and countless terror attacks on civilians including beheadings and incidents such as the bombing in Allepo that killed 28 people, groups such as the Council on Foreign Relations, considered to be America’s most influential foreign-policy think tank, have praised the group saying that the Free Syrian Army "needs Al Qaeda" for their moral and battle experience learned in Iraq against US troops.
Despite the budget fiasco at home, the Egyptian Muslim Brotherhood who has groups in Syria allied with Al Qaeda, have also received massive funding including the recent pledge of $250 million from the Obama administration as well as multiple F-16 fighter jets and military tanks. Although ignored by the media, internal controversy was caused when Homeland Security head Janet Napolitano admitted to giving secret government clearance to members of the Muslim Brotherhood who used government databases to collect information on Americans in opposition to the group.
Now the anti-terror apparatus has seen a swift and increasing turn inward on the American citizenry. Major controversy was stirred after it was learned that Homeland Security considered returning veterans as the main terror threat, which likely explains their training of boy-scouts to "take on disgruntled veterans." Others such as Attorney General Eric Holder, most famous for his involvement in the Fast and Furious gun walking scandal that allowed thousands of firearms into the hands of Mexican drug cartels in order to blame Americans and restrict the 2nd Amendment as revealed in documents leaked to CBS, has said that homegrown-terrorists rival overseas groups.
Countless military and police training manuals and reports have been leaked over recent years that characterize everyday American activities as terrorist. The now famous 2009 MIAC Report classifies Americans who vote third party, own gold or multiple American flags as likely extremists. A more recent Homeland Security report from last year even claims that "liberty lovers" and people who are “reverent of individual liberty” are likely terrorist. The Pentagon has even been found to label protesting as low-level terrorism.
Even activities such as "paying for coffee with cash" and "wanting privacy" while surfing the web in public are considered suspicious terrorist activities that need to be reportedaccording to the FBI. Now a barrage of media outlets have begun to push the government-crafted theory of "white gun owners" being the main terrorist threat.
Many Americans were dumbfounded when it was revealed and admitted this year that Homeland Security spent $2 million on shooting targets depicting pregnant women, children, and the elderly in residential settings and on school-grounds, to reportedly desensitize police to shoot “non-traditional threats.” Meanwhile the US government now openly claims the authority toassassinate Americans with predator drones on US soil, indefinitely detain Americans in military prisons based on suspicion without a trial under the NDAA, all while labeling anyone who believes such things as dangerous and mentally ill terrorists.
Coupled with Homeland Security's recent purchase of over 1.6 billion rounds of hollow point ammunition, enough to fight a 24-year Iraq war and 2,700 mine resistant armored tanks to be used at home, many Americans are now beginning to question what is going on, even if that questioning makes them a terrorist.
