How much power do the people have in a modern democracy such as Britain?
The ballot box can remove a government but can it change fundamental policies.
Is there a pure form of democracy? Does the public will have a chance to challenge corporate power and the political establishment?
Or is the public simply asked at the election time to choose between one elite and another?
