Eliminate The Causes And Hizbullah Dissolves

The Lebanese Resistance Movement, Hizbullah, will only dissolve after the root causes that spawned its existence have been completely eliminated, said Lebanon's Premier Fouad Siniora.

"Hizbullah will dissolve when the problems which led to its creation no longer exist," Fouad Sinora told Italy's La Republica.

"Let's confront the question of land usurped by others that belongs to Lebanon,"

"For decades we have claimed the land which belongs to us. Begin restitution and you will see tensions diminish." said Siniora, referring to the Shebaa Farms that is still under Israeli occupation.

Hizbullah has vowed to liberate the Shebaa Farms, and place it under Beirut's control.

"Hizbullah has had an important role, it has defended borders which have been repeatedly violated, it has confronted the invasion of a sovereign state. Eliminate the causes and you will eliminate the effects," Fouad Siniora said.
