A heicopter gunship raid on a madrassa on Pakistan's border with Afghanistan has left at least 80 people dead. The attack happened in the tribal area of Bajaur.
The Pakistani military said the religious school was being used as a training camp for militants.
But an eyewitness told the BBC the madrassa was filled with local students who had resumed studies after the Muslim Eid holidays.
Cabinet Minister Siraj Ul-Haq, from Pakistan's North West Frontier Province, condemned the attack and resigned in protest.
