In Memorium: 'A Thousand Words'
********************************************
They say a picture is worth a thousand words or more.
Then why can't I picture you instead of making my heart sore.
My heart pounds the ache to hurt Just a little each beat.
The time you are gone feels like total absence of heat.
It Just keeps getting colder each day as it goes by.
There is nothing left to do, nothing left to try.
I Just wish you were here, beside me again.
The love crosses the miles, no address to send.
I will come visit soon, but right now its too hard
To see the stone garden from across the yard.
Your name I can barely read through the teras in my eyes.
I never really had a chance to say my goodbyes.
