Recent chemical attacks and related actions:
__ March 16: Three suicide bombers driving chlorine-laden trucks struck in the Sunni insurgent stronghold of Anbar province, killing as many as eight people and forcing about 350 Iraqi civilians and six U.S. troops to seek treatment for exposure to the gas.
__ Feb. 22: U.S. military discovers car bomb factory with propane and chlorine in the volatile western province of Anbar. U.S. troops discovered a pickup truck and three other vehicles that were being prepared as car bombs, as well as detonation material in five buildings.
__ Feb. 21: A pickup truck carrying chlorine gas cylinders was blown apart in Baghdad, killing at least five people and sending more than 55 to hospitals.
__ Feb. 20: A bomb planted on a chlorine tanker left more than 150 villagers stricken north of the capital. More than 60 were still under medical care the following day.
__ Feb. 19: A suicide car bombing in Ramadi involving chlorine killed two Iraqi security forces and wounded 16 other people, including 13 civilians. The bombing went unannounced.
__ Jan. 28: A suicide bomber driving a dump truck filled with explosives and a chlorine tank struck a quick reaction force and Iraqi police in the Sunni city of Ramadi, killing 16 people.
