Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi's Blooper

MSNBC has aired a video showing Abu Musab Al-Zarqawi attempting unsuccessfully to operate a machine gun, and one of his comrades stepped in to cock it for him.

And CNN aired a portion of the video (last night) of Zarqawi burning his hand, by briefly holding the hot muzzle of the machine gun after firing it.

So, are we supposed to believe that this individual is supposed to be the terror "MASTERMIND" that some governments are making him out to be?

The only person he's terrorizing is himself by his incompetence, as the video clearly shows.

The reporter in the video stated that Zarqawi was wearing American-made sneakers while he was firing the machine gun. That seems quite odd that America's arch nemesis in Iraq, an individual professing to hate America and everything about it, would wear anything made by his enemy.

I had posted an article last month that had an American source within the Pentagon state that they deliberately inflated Zarqawi's abilities and image of notoriety, in order to influence the public (domestic & foreign) and shape their views regarding America's continued occupation of Iraq and its conduct in the war on terror.
